Drawing like Monet is easy and fun. I will give you some historical information about Monet and his work and learn how to draw step by step in his style. Monet painted masses of color side by side until everything was complete. There are also additional episodes on how to choose materials if needed. We even take a walk in Monet's garden in one part. Come with me to learn how to draw in this very comfortable drawing style.

Doris lived in Texas and fell in love with painting. Her neighbor invited her to her painting class as a sign of her friendship, and it changed her life. Painting became a passion. Doris has taken various courses in the United States and Canada.

In 2003, Doris was invited to the Rivière du Roe as an artist for 'La Marée aux 1000 Vagues'. She has also received a community artist grant and has had the opportunity to tour Alberta as a guest artist. Doris posted on the desktop calendar of the Association de la Femme in Quebec. Her work was selected as a poster for the 2004 French language education canadienne de l'éducation langagière francophone. Since then, Doris has worked with Art Avenue (Vancouver), Somerset Studio (USA, spring 2007) and Leisure Painter (UK, fall 2007). Doris was a featured artist for Capital Ex in Edmonton in 2009. In 2011 she won the Sylvie Van Brabant Award for her Regroupement artistique francophone de l'Alberta.

Doris prefers to work with mixed media to create more modern effects. She is interested in textures, shapes and lighting. Her love of textures earned her an Allesandra Bisselli Award with the Canadian Federation of Artists in Vancouver. Her nature and the world around her inspire her. Doris travels a lot to teach her skills to teens and adults who share her love of creation.
