People want to improve their lives, but often don't know where to start. The reason we are creating this course is because this is the basic information we want all our customers to know. I teach a simple daily habit that studies have shown to be better than Prozac for treating depression or anxiety. Most of these changes only take a few minutes a day.
By the end of this course, you will know 10 ways you can change the chemistry, structure, and function of your brain. You will learn how to prepare your brain to be healthier and happier.

Hello! I am Emma McAdam, a Certified Marriage and Family Therapist and I love helping people make a difference. However, we understand that understanding mental health can be confusing and stressful. But we also know that there is hope for changing the brain and resolving painful emotions, and we can guide you through the process.
I have been working in the field of change and growth since 2004. He holds a master's degree in marriage and family therapy from Utah State University and is currently licensed in the state of Utah. I have worked in settings such as youth correctional, adventure therapy programs, high school, wild therapy programs, eating disorder treatment centers, residential treatment centers, and outpatient care.
For many people, it can be very difficult to access mental health resources. There are major obstacles such as cost, stigma, not knowing where to look or a lack of quality local resources, which make it difficult for people to get basic mental health services.
When my first child was born (I have three little girls), I stopped seeing many clients because I wanted to spend as much time with them as possible when they were young. But the calls kept coming. Faced with overwhelming need and an overactive mind, I decided to do the little things. I started making videos on the topic of mental health early in the morning when my baby was asleep. In bite-sized pieces, YouTube videos and online courses make mental health techniques more accessible.
Therapy is this wonderful process in which two people sit together and solve challenges in a personalized and supportive growth environment. These resources are education, not therapy, but we've seen these videos have a positive impact on thousands of viewers and students.
I love helping people change and I am creative in how to help change. I take a solutions-focused approach with a focus on learning skills to help people find love, purpose, and joy in their lives. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring the world with her husband and daughters, spending time outdoors, taking pictures, crafting, and learning new things.
