Suffering from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia, I have been researching various holistic methods for health and healing. Some worked and some didn't, but I couldn't find any magic bullets or "cure everything". Rather, through trial and error, I found relief through careful exercise, stress relief, and meditative spiritual practice. Traditional herbal medicine has been very helpful, along with related healing practices.

Mainstream medicine did not have an answer to my health problems, so I pursued eclectic education in the areas of alternative medicine and self-help. I am a certified yoga teacher and registered with the Yoga Alliance as RYT-500. I am also a Certified Long White Cloud Qigong Level 1 Instructor (200 hours program of Qigong Art in China, sometimes called "Taoist Yoga"). In addition, he was trained as a Life Coach through the Coach Building and the Life on Purpose Institute.

In terms of yoga, we focus on therapeutic yoga as a way to heal and support people with chronic health problems and injuries. Qi Gong makes a great compliment to yoga as most publicly available practices are safe and very easy to do. I'm also interested in east-west intersections such as Christian yoga and meditation.

My hobbies are sewing, knitting, crocheting, beading, and playing the guitar. I've been improvising comedy for years, but don't confuse it with stand-up-I'm a good straight man, but not a punch line provider!
