Course overview
SQL Server is a combination of two core items. The first is the management side of the house. Database creation, login and user management, backup, etc.
The second part of theequation is to develop your code in a language called a structured query language.
Microsoft's SQL flavor is called Transact-SQL.
Transaction is primarily designed to work with relational databases. Transact is the language used to communicate with SQL Server.
When you create a database, the database uses DDL or a data definition language. You are defining an object when you use a statement in your code.
Use DML or data manipulation language to display the data in the table. You have not created an object. You are manipulating the data in that object.
In this course, you will learn the basics of Transact-SQL or T-SQL.
Let's take a look at the basics of Transact using a real-world example. It also covers some best practices related to writing clean, high-performance code.
Learn why stored procedures are so important to a well-designed application and why ad hoc queries aren't.
The knowledge gained in this course will not only help you learn development, but it will also be a great first step in learning how to identify performance problems caused by poorly written code. Become.
Thank you for your interest in "RealWorld Transact-SQL from scratch".

Over the last five years, I have moved into an exciting world of applied machine learning. I am happy to show you what I have learned and help you move to one of the most important areas in this area.
Experience, education, passion
I learn something almost every day. I work with insanely smart people. I'm a greedy learner of everything about SQL Server and I'm passionate about sharing what I've learned. My focus is on performance tuning. SQL Server is like an exotic sports car that works fine in anyone's hands, but in the hands of a seasoned tuner, it works like a race car.
Accreditation
Certification is like a college degree and is a good starting point for starting your studies. I am a Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA), a Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE), and a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT).
