Meng-Chow Kang is the Asia Pacific Regional Security Assurance Officer for Amazon Web Services. He served as Director and Chief Information Security Officer for Cisco Systems Asia Pacific, China and Japan from February 2009 to June 2017. He is also one of the directors of ISC2. He has served as Chair or Chair of the Security Controls and Services Working Group at ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 27, previously co-rapporteur of ITU-T SG17, and is also an Adjunct Associate Professor at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.

Dr. Mr. Kang holds a master's degree in information security from Royal Holloway and Bedford New College, University of London, and a doctorate in information security risk management from Southern Cross University, Australia. She has been certified as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) since 1998.

Dr. Kang is the author of the CRC Press book Responsive Security: Be Ready to Be Secure.
