In this advanced course, students learn advanced typing options, including converting text to outlines, using type styles, working with region type options, threading types, and text wrapping. Students will also learn to create swatch groups, repaint artwork, create and use blends, apply gradient meshes, and use Live Paint. Students also use a variety of methods to transform shapes, work with symbol tools, import and track images, and create clipping and opacity masks. Finally, students learn how to create tasks that automate repetitive steps and master Illustrator's productivity tools.
